Well, Christmas has passed and the New Year was ushered in this week. Over the past two weeks, I have spent a few days at my mom’s house in Coarsegold, a few days at the beach in LA and am now blogging from the mountains of Aspen (where it has been snowing all day!)Nothing too much eventful happened over Christmas. Santa was good to all of us this year – so much that I am having trouble fitting everything into my suitcase! I got to visit with a couple of friends like Fight On Bob and spent a day at Kristine’s. Her time at Cordon Bleu is time well spent – she made me homemade pasta with Bolognese sauce. Yum!
On New Year’s Eve I made dinner for Stephen and almost slept right on through midnight. I woke up for 5 minutes, so I guess you could say that I rallied... On a bright and sunny New Year’s Day, I was at the Rose Bowl watching my Trojans defeat Michigan 32 – 18. Fight On!
Now I’ve joined some of my extended family in Aspen for a little ski trip. We are spending much of our time on Aspen Mountain and skied through blizzard conditions today – boy, are my legs sore! I’ve got one more day of skiing tomorrow before heading home on Sunday where I will happily reunite with Minnie. :)
